Region 2 Preparing for the National Festival – Dan Sparring Team Qualifying Event

“Action, Action, Action”… That's the presentation that occurred yesterday, May 4, 2013  hosted at the Ellenville Moo Duk Kwan® Academy!  Organized  by Regional Examiners Cort Stinehour,  Dan Bon 33190 O Dan, Sa bom Nim and Denise Mullen, Dan Bon 30212 O Dan, Sa Bom Nim, and Mrs. Mary Kate Stinehour; and presided over by Charter Member and Hu Kyun In member, Frank Bonsignore, Dan Bon 15805, Pal Dan.  Assisting the Regional Examiners and providing support were  Joseph Poppo, Dan Bon 28041,Yuk Dan, Sa bom Nim.  We had approx., 30 participants, including Regional Ko Dan Ja who provided support in judging  matches and evaluating all the Dans who want to qualify for the sparring teams.

Remember you must attend these events to qualify.

This is the first event of two scheduled before the National Festival to get Dan members to qualify for the Dan Sparring teams.  The next scheduled event will be at our National HQ in Springfield, NJ, on June 15, 2013; starting I believe again around 11 a.m.  If there is a scheduled change in time, it will be posted here.

There was alot of active participation by all the members who attended.  We want to again thank… Cort Stinehour, Sa Bom Nim and his wonderful crew for organizing this Regional event at the Moo Duk Kwan® Academy in Ellenville, NY.
