We want to especially recognize Ann DuBois Sa bom Nim, who stepped up to the plate this year in organizing the NYMA HS Dan Shim Sa, she put together the teams/groups and volunteers to have a successful Shim Sa, she deserves special recognition for her first time out. OUTSTANDING! SOO BAHK!
Our Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang was in Australia for the South East Asia Leadership Seminars (SEALS) 2013. On behalf of the Kwan Jang Nim, Bonsignore Sa Bom Nim shared an email greeting sent by the Kwan Jang Nim for the Region 2 Leadership, members, families attending and supporting friends and volunteers. The message basically said that he was missing his region's Dan Shim Sa and missed everyone, and wish the very best to the candidates attending and participating in the Dan Shim Sa and shared that the SEALS leadership was accomplishing their goals for 2013. Below is a copy of that message to everyone in Region 2.
Dear Leaders in the R2,
It is a beautiful morning sun in Adelaide, Australia.
Moo Pal Dan Khum session is just over and ready for breakfast.
The 2013 SEALS is going well and we are achieving the objectives we set in 1997.
The event is supported by Sa Boms Kenyon, Oulashin, Styer, and Sean (Oulashin Sa Bom's son, Sam Dan) and many others from the SEA region.
I will be missed the R2 Dan SS and think all of you. Please extend my best wishes to all candidates, officials and their family.
In Moo Duk Kwan,
HC Hwang

Hosted by Frampton Sa Bom Nim and Dubois Sa Bom Nim and with the help of many other volunteers. As Frampton Sa Bom Nim posted on his Facebook Page: “Thanks to all DuBois, Murray, Schmitt, Green, Urbaniak, for hosting a terrific Dan Shim Sa. Also to all the masters that put time aside in their hectic schedules to spend the afternoon with us at the test tables. Lets not forget the Regional Examiner for their outstanding job to make a pleasant time for all of our candidates this afternoon. And also all of Frampton's parents that volunteered their time to help us.” Also working in the background during the Shim Sa was Mrs. Mary Kate Stinehour, KSN, who put the scores into the computer and printed them up for all the Studio Owners. Thank you Mrs. Stinehour! Master Elaine Phillips and Barb Schmitt, KSN provided a healthy luncheon for the Judges. Thank you.
